Glass walls are an excellent way to ensure a conference room has an open “airy” feel to it, so most architects design them with at least one glass wall. This is well and good except for one small detail — privacy. You can’t have both an open feel and privacy right? Wrong! Decorative window film offers many ways to provide varying levels of privacy while still allowing the room to feel open and connected to the rest of the suite. By using creative and artistic designs we can turn your conference room glass into an work of art, or a place to display your company logo. You might be thinking this looks expensive. You’re right, it looks expensive, but it isn’t. We can achieve this high-end look at a low-end price. In fact, hundreds or thousands less than real etched glass, depending on the size of the scope.

Traditionally you would need to hire a glass company to help design your idea and they would take the glass to a sandblasting vendor to have your logo etched into the glass. Later the glass vendor would bring the glass out and install it. This was a permanent solution and if you ever wanted to remove it or change the design you would have to remove the glass and start over again. This was cost prohibitive in most cases. Now you can have the exact same look for a tiny fraction of the cost by using “etched” window film. It is almost impossible to tell it is not real etched glass. The look is very high-end, but the price isn’t at all. We have our own in-house art designers who will provide you with a mock-up so you can see the design and make any needed changes before we install it. If you ever move out of the space we can remove the film and you don’t need to replace the glass for the landlord. If you ever change your logo or want to freshen up the look after a few years, no problem. We simply remove the film and start with a new design concept.

You are certainly not limited to the etched glass look. Today we have HD Clear, our new line of clear printed films that have the look of very expensive polyester interlayer laminated glass which can take months from design to fruition and is also permanent. With HD Clear we achieve the exact same look for a tiny fraction of the cost, and with a quick turn around. We simply create anything you and our design team come up with, print it on clear film and install it across the glass surface. Again, if you ever move, we simply remove it from the glass leaving the original clear glass in perfect condition. You also have the option to change the design whenever you feel the need to update the look of your space.

These film options save time and money and offer a versatile and economical way to turn an ordinary space into an impactful conversation piece.

There are seemingly endless options when researching home security and defense, but one often overlooked product is security window film. The windows in your home are the weakest part of the exterior shell of the house. Burglars are looking for the easiest and quickest way to make off with your valuables, and with the right tools a window can be easily broken, granting quick access to your valuables. Security window film is a completely clear polyester mylar film that is installed on the inside surface of your home’s windows. When a window is broken by a burglar, the security window film holds the broken glass together and in place, making it difficult to dislodge. The delay this causes may deter the burglar, who may opt for an easier target.

Some homeowners opt to add an attachment system to further increase the difficulty of removing the broken glass held in place by the security window film. An attachment system consists of an adhesive or adhesive backed substrate that is installed around the edge of the film, anchoring it to the window frame. To illustrate how an attachment system works, imagine a trampoline. The jumping mat represents the window film, and the trampoline springs represent the attachment system holding the center in the frame.

Another benefit to security window film is the UV protection it provides. Ultraviolet inhibitors in the film block 99% of the UV light that is damaging to your home’s furnishings, artwork and flooring.

Californians spend an average of 235 hours a year commuting in our cars (according to the Public Policy Institute of California), and for much of that time the sun is streaming in through the glass and onto our skin. Although we feel protected behind the glass, in reality, we are not. It is well documented that long-term sun exposure, with or without sunburn, can cause harmful effects including premature aging of the skin and even skin cancer.

Sunscreen, long-sleeved shirts and pants, hats and other sun-shielding methods are helpful, but aren’t always convenient to wear inside the car.

An unfortunate example of the severity of this problem recently made CNN headlines. The face of a gentleman who drove a delivery truck for close to 30 years clearly shows the effects of prolonged sun exposure while driving. During the video segment, the CNN host even says, “[I] do not put on sun block before getting into my car.” Realistically, how many people do?

Campbell Window Film has been working towards a solution for this problem for years, one that is both cost effective and legal to install on our customers’ vehicles. We are pleased to report that we have launched a brand new line of automobile window film called SPF film to specifically combat this issue.

SPF film is a one-time installation upgrade for your car’s glass that is always working and never needs to be adjusted for the sun’s angle or be reapplied. By installing this product, you will be protecting yourself, your family and your vehicles interior from the harmful effects of the sun.

SPF film is a revolutionary, crystal clear film that filters out 99.9% of UVR (Ultraviolet Radiation); contains special UV inhibitors that allow the visible light to pass through while filtering out UVA and UVB radiation. It has an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) that exceeds 1500 and comes with a nation-wide limited-lifetime warranty. It is constructed of the highest quality materials and the strongest, longest lasting adhesive. It will never bubble or lose its crystal clear clarity, guaranteed.

This product protects you and your family from the sun year round; aiding in anti-aging and skin cancer prevention.

To learn more about the benefits of SPF film, contact one of our automotive film specialists at 800-580-9997.
